Free hip and knee replacementA volunteer medical nonprofit founded in 1996 by orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Lawrence D. Dorr. Operation Walk teams provide hip and knee replacement surgery at no cost to patients who lack access to care and help train in-country surgical teams.

Surgical care shouldn’t depend on where a patient lives. Global Relief extends SYLKE® Skin Closure beyond the hospitals we serve every day to volunteer teams working in mission hospitals and outreach programs.
We work alongside partners who already know their communities, so each donation reaches the team that requested it and supports the surgeons and nurses who stay after a mission ends. Availability varies by country.
